Fort Hays State women's soccer will close out its 2025 season at home on Wednesday, November 5, hosting Nebraska-Kearney at 7 p.m. at FHSU Soccer Stadium. The Tigers enter the match with a 3-11-2 overall record and 1-8-2 mark in the MIAA, coming off a 1-1 draw against Rogers State on Sunday.
FHSU took an early lead in the match with Rogers State on a penalty kick goal from
Chaley French, her sixth goal of the season.
Sydney Cotter remains the team's points leader with 16 (six goals, four assists), while
Hadley Ostrander has recorded four shutouts and holds a .722 save percentage in goal.
Nebraska-Kearney comes into the contest at 3-9-4 overall and 1-6-4 in the MIAA. The Lopers are coming off a 1-0 loss to Northeastern State. UNK snapped an 11-match losing streak to FHSU last year in Kearney by a score of 2-1. FHSU leads the all-time series 17-4-1 between the teams.
