Kyle Grill of Fort Hays State Men's Basketball was named to the CSC Academic All-District Team for the 2024-25 season on Tuesday (Mar. 25). This award honors a combination of academic and athletic accomplishments of the individuals selected.
 
To be considered for Academic All-District selection, an individual must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, hold a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or better, and compete in 90 percent of the team's contests or start at least 66 percent of contests at the time of nomination.
 
Grill was an All-MIAA Honorable Mention selection in 2024-25. He holds a 3.82 GPA as a Management major at FHSU.
 
Grill finished the 2024-25 season averaging 11.6 points per game, which ranked second on the team. He shot 44.4 percent from the field, 74.7 percent at the free-throw line, and made 52 3-point field goals. He also pulled down 4.6 rebounds per game, while starting all 32 games for the Tigers.
