Fort Hays State Tennis had three student-athletes named to the CSC Academic All-District Team for 2024-25 on Tuesday (May 13).
Grace Unruh,
Yone Pereiro, and
Shreethika Vangala all earned the distinction this season. Both Unruh and Pereiro were repeat honorees.

To be considered for Academic All-District in tennis, an individual must at least a sophomore, hold a 3.5 or higher cumulative GPA, and must be in the lineup for 70 percent of total matches played by the team in a season.

Unruh wrapped her career at FHSU with 64 wins in just three seasons, which puts her among the top 10 players in the program's NCAA Division II history for wins. Though she still has a year of eligibility remaining, she will graduate from FHSU in three years. Unruh holds a 3.76 GPA as a Tourism and Hospitality Management major at FHSU.

Pereiro has won a total of 26 matches over two years at FHSU, which included 19 in 2024-25. Â She played the majority of the season at the No. 4 singles and No. 3 doubles positions. Pereiro holds a 3.53 GPA as an International Business and Economics major at FHSU.

Vangala won a total of 14 matches during her first season eligible for this honor. In her first year at FHSU, she won 12 matches, which gives her a total of 26 wins at FHSU. Vangala holds a 3.50 GPA as a Psychology and Marketing major at FHSU.
