MANHEIM, Pa. – The Fort Hays State women's wrestling team received the No. 8 seed among NCAA teams for the NWCA National Duals, set to take place January 9-10 in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Eight of the 16 teams in the bracket received seeds and all eight are currently ranked within the Top 10 of the NCAA rankings. The event will take place at the University of Northern Iowa's UNI-Dome.
The Tigers, ranked No. 9 nationally in the latest NWCA rankings, will face Sacred Heart University in the opening round. The winner of the opening round dual will face either No. 1 seed Iowa or William Jewell in the second quarterfinals and the losing teams will face each other in the consolation bracket. A team could possibly wrestle three duals on the first day of competition.
