Sunday, May 10, 2026 – UNK Last Chance Meet – Kearney, Neb.
 
The Fort Hays State men's and women's track and field teams will have select athletes competing at last-chance meets in Nebraska this weekend. The Tigers will be in action at both the Concordia Twilight Meet (May 8) and UNK Last Chance Meet (May 10).
 
Fort Hays State's women's squad is ranked 25^th in the latest USTFCCCA Track and Field Rating Index, released on May 5, 2026.
 
For the Tiger men, 11 student-athletes are expected to compete this week. On the women's side, seven student-athletes are expected to compete. The FHSU men have produced 16 NCAA qualifying marks this outdoor season, while the women have produced nine. Four of the 16 men's marks were in relay races.
 
Last week the FHSU women placed sixth as a team at the MIAA Championships, while the men were eighth.
