Fort Hays State had six women's student-athletes receive 2025-26 CSC Academic All-District honors for at-large sports. The at-large sports category encompasses 13 women's sports.
Three from women's golf and three from women's wrestling received the honor for Fort Hays State. Six is the maximum amount an institution can have receive the honors for the year.
Hayden York,
Alexis Elliott, and
Brynn Ray from women's golf received the honor, while
Isabella Renfro,
Alexis Burton, and
Nichole Moore from women's wrestling were honored.
For golf, honorees must have competed in 75 percent of the team's total varsity events that were team scoring events. For wrestling, honorees must have been in the lineup for a minimum of 75 percent of matches that were team scoring events, or wrestled in an NCAA championship event. Student-athletes must also have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA to be eligible for consideration.
York is now a two-time CSC Academic All-District selection. She played in all 11 events for FHSU throughout the 2025-26 season and had one top-five finish to her credit. She had a season stroke average of 82.67. York holds a 3.7 cumulative GPA as an Elementary Education major.
Elliott received the honor in her first year at FHSU after transferring from Chico State in California. She also played in all 11 events for FHSU throughout the 2025-26 season and produced one top-five finish. She had an 82.44 scoring average for the season. Elliott is a Biology major at FHSU with a 3.76 cumulative GPA.
Ray also received the honor in her first year at FHSU after transferring from Metropolitan (Mo.) Community College. She played in 10 tournaments throughout the 2025-26 season and had one top-10 finish. She had a stroke average of 89.54 for the season. Ray is a Communication major at FHSU with a 3.92 cumulative GPA.
Renfro became the first women's wrestler in FHSU history to earn NCAA All-America honors in 2025-26. She placed fourth nationally at 180 in the first-ever NCAA Championship held for women's wrestling. Renfro put together a 32-5 overall record for the season, setting a new single-season record for wins by a Tiger in the program's young history. She is a two-time national qualifier overall after earning her way to the NCWWC Championships the year before. Renfro also led the team in pins with 24 and all but one of her wins on the season was by the bonus-point variety, making her one of the most dominant wrestlers in the NCAA throughout the season. She is an Organizational Leadership major at FHSU and holds a 3.88 cumulative GPA.
Burton had a breakthrough season in 2025-26 by qualifying for the NCAA Championships at 160. She wrestled at 145 all the way up until late January, but then caught fire after moving up a class going 11-2 down the stretch leading into the NCAA Championships. She finished the year at 22-10 overall. Burton matched Renfro for the team lead in tournament placements, both with six to their credit in 2025-26. Burton is a Biology major at FHSU and holds a perfect 4.0 cumulative GPA.
Moore closed out her collegiate career by qualifying for the first-ever NCAA Championships at 145. She posted a record of 18-7 overall for the season and finished her career with an impressive 145-38 record, with time spent at Baker University and McKendree University before coming to FHSU for the last two seasons of her career. She worked on her graduate degree in Political Science at FHSU. She had a 3.92 cumulative undergraduate GPA and then a perfect 4.0 graduate GPA.
