KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Fort Hays State Men's Soccer moved up to No. 22 in the latest United Soccer Coaches Top 25 Poll, released on Tuesday (Sept. 15). The Tigers are 2-1-2 overall so far this season. Fort Hays State and Rogers State will meet in a matchup of ranked teams Thursday evening (Sept. 17) in Hays to open Great American Conference.
 
The Tigers moved up three spots this week to No. 22 from their No. 25 ranking of a week ago. FHSU has been in the Top 25 for all four polls released this season, which includes the preseason and three regular season polls so far. FHSU is coming off a draw with Lubbock Christian.
 
Rogers State moved down three spots this week, now No. 12 after holding the No. 9 spot a week ago. The Hillcats are 4-1-1 overall for the season and are coming off their first loss of the season to St. Mary's (Texas).
 
Fort Hays State and Rogers State met four times last year and Fort Hays State won all four meetings. The first two were in regular season conference play, then the Tigers added victories in the GAC Tournament championship game and NCAA Super Region championship game.
 
Following the contest with Rogers State on Thursday, the Tigers will host Northeastern State on Saturday (Sept. 19).
