Fort Hays State women's soccer will play a pair of MIAA matches at home this weekend, the first home contests of the season after the first seven were played away from Hays. The Tigers host No. 19 ranked Central Missouri on Friday (Sept. 25) at 7 p.m. before hosting Missouri Southern on Sunday (Sept. 27) at 12 p.m. The Tigers enter the weekend 2-4-1 overall and 0-2 in the MIAA.

Senior Day Sunday
Even though it is the first week of home contests for FHSU, the senior class will be celebrated following the contest with Missouri Southern on Sunday. The five seniors on this year's squad inlclude

All-Time Series with Jennies
Central Missouri leads the all-time series with FHSU 18-2-1. Fort Hays State's last win over UCM was in 2015 in Hays by a score of 2-1 when UCM was the No. 1 ranked team in the nation. The teams tied 1-1 in Hays during the 2022 season. UCM has been nationally ranked in every regular season meeting between the teams since FHSU started its women's soccer program in 2011.
All-Time Series with Lions
Fort Hays State leads the all-time series with Missouri Southern 9-2-4. MSSU won the first two meetings between the teams back in 2011 and 2012, but FHSU has a record of 9-0-4 against the Lions since. The teams played to a scoreless tie last year in Hays and FHSU won six-straight matches prior to that. The Lions have not scored a goal against the Tigers since 2013.

Berit Shores leads the way, while seven other players all have one each. Shores moved into the team lead with her 2-goal performance at Colorado Christian.
Stoskopf Leading the Way in Goal
Katie Stoskopf leads Tiger goalkeepers this year with a 1.83 goals against average and .667 save percentage. She played the entire length of five matches this season, but yielded to teammates in the second half of contests in Colorado.
