2011 (Junior): Started all 13 games he appeared in for the Tigers on the mound...Posted a 6-5 record with a 4.68 ERA...Led FHSU in innings pitched with 82.2...Only pitcher on the team to throw a shutout during the 2011 season...Led the team in strikeouts with 59...Had the lowest ERA of any regular starter on the team...Opponents hit .286, which was the lowest for any of the regular starting pitchers for FHSU...Ranked second on the team in complete games (4) and wins (6)...Led the team in hits allowed (93), doubles allowed (18) and tied for the team lead in home runs allowed (6)...Threw a complete-game shutout at Arkansas-Fort Smith, going 8.0 innings, allowing just five hits and one walk with two strikeouts...His complete game came in a 3-0 extra-innings win, which was a scheduled seven-inning game...Threw seven or more innings in six outings...Recorded a season-high nine strikeouts in seven-innings of work against Emporia State...Earned second FHSU letter.

2010 (Redshirt-Sophomore): Ranked second among regular starters in ERA (6.57)...Started in all 11 of his appearances...Ranked second on the team in innings pitched (50.2)...Led the team in walks allowed (29)...Posted a season-high five strikeouts on two occasions...Best start was an eight-inning, three-hit outing at Truman, allowing no earned runs and tying his season strikeout high of five...Earned first FHSU letter.

2009 (Sophomore): Redshirted the 2009 season. 

Barton (Kan.) CC: Started three games for the Cougars...Went 1-1 before sustaining a season ending injury...Logged 13 innings and struck out 12 while walking eight...Held opponents to a team low .235 batting average. 

Hays HS: Lettered four years in baseball and three in football while attending high school in Hays and Dallas, Texas.
