Bryce Baumwart is in his second year as a graduate assistant baseball coach at Fort Hays State University in 2021.
Baumwart played two seasons for the Tigers (2018-19), appearing in 33 games and making 19 starts. He totaled three home runs, 11 RBI, 11 runs and a .386 slugging percentage. He joined the FHSU squad after one season at Barton Community College (2017) and one season at Brown Mackie College (2016). He was listed on the MIAA Academic Honor Roll after his junior season in 2018.
An Emporia, Kan. native, Baumwart was a three-year starter for the Spartans at Emporia High School before graduating in 2015.
Baumwart is a 2019 graduate of Fort Hays State University, completing a bachelor's in health and human performance. He is currently pursuing a master's degree in the HHP department.
