John Lipka is serving as an assistant coach for Fort Hays State during the 2024 season.
Lipka has several years of experience as a baseball coach. His head coaching stops include Gainesville (Ga.) Junior College and Evergreen (Colo.) High School. He was a volunteer assistant coach at Trinidad State (Colo.) College during Justin Wichert's time as head coach. As a player, Lipka was a member of two national championship teams at Florida Southern College as an outfielder and catcher in 1974 and 1978.
Lipka retired from the FBI as a Supervisory Special Agent, working with the agency in Washington D.C., New York City and Denver.
