2009 (Freshman): Played in 38 games and started 26...Tied for fifth on the team in home runs with six...Fifteen of his 24 hits on the season went for extra bases...Ranked seventh on the team in slugging percentage (.522)...Had a season-high four RBIs on two occasions...Recorded a season-high three hits on three occasions...Belted two home runs in the first game of a doubleheader with Nebraska-Kearney on February 21...Scored a season-high three runs twice in the four-game series with Nebraska-Kearney...Earned first FHSU letter. 

Beloit HS: Batted .410 as a senior...Lettered one year in baseball for the Trojans...Also lettered three years in basketball, two years in football, and two years in track and field at Beloit and Jewell High Schools...Set the school record in the javelin at Jewell High School.
