Biography

2014 (Senior):  Named All-MIAA First Team at Catcher…Started 38 games behind the plate and appeared in 41…Finished with a .321 batting average (fourth on the team) and had five doubles, two home runs and a team-high .528 slugging percentage…Posted a 1.000 fielding percentage for the second consecutive season, with at least 200 chances each year…Closed out her career with 124 consecutive games without committing an error…Hit go-ahead extra inning home runs in back-to-back games for the Tigers, against Missouri Southern (4/11/14) and Pittsburg State (4/12/14)…Caught a no-hitter for Paxton Duran against Northeastern State, bringing her career no-hitter total to eight, including two perfect games…Set the school’s career fielding percentage record (min. 150 chances) of .992 in 1,031 chances.

2013 (Junior): Played in 48 games and started 43 at catcher...Led the team in defensive putouts with 394, setting a new single-season FHSU record...Caught six no-hitters, including two perfect games for MIAA Pitcher and Player of the Year Maddie Holub...Behind the dish for both of Holub's single-game school-record strikeout performances, reaching 17 twice on back-to-back days (April 5 & 6)...Utilized mainly for defense, she had just 61 at bats on offense...Put down five sacrifices and was a perfect 2-of-2 on stolen base attempts...Recorded a season-best two RBI in three games...Tied the school record with a perfect defensive fielding percentage of 1.000, committing no errors in 404 chances...Allowed just one passed ball all season...Earned third FHSU letter.

2012 (Sophomore): All-MIAA Second Team selection at catcher...Played and started all 50 games at catcher...Batted .258 with three home runs, seven doubles, one triple, 21 RBI and 16 runs scored...Ranked sixth on the team in batting average, fifth in RBI, and tied for fifth in hits (41)...Tied for second-most doubles on the team...Tied for fourth-most home runs on the team...Led the team in putouts with 369, which set a new single-season school record at the time...Had a season-high three RBI in a game at Panhandle State...Recorded a season-high two hits in a game six times...Had six multi-hit games and five multi-RBI games and longest hitting streak of the season was seven games...Earned second FHSU letter.

2011 (Freshman): Appeared in and started 41 games for the Tigers in the outfield...Hit .171 with three extra-base hits and three RBI...Committed just three errors all season and had a fielding percentage of .943...Had season-highs of runs (2), hits (2) and RBI (2) against Southeastern Oklahoma on February 27...Hit her only triple of the season against Pittsburg State at the Missouri Southern Border Battle...Recorded a season-high four putouts in the second game of a conference doubleheader at Central Missouri...Had two outfield assists for the year, including a crucial one in the first inning of the MIAA Tournament Championship against Nebraska-Omaha...Earned first FHSU letter.
