James Walker led the Tigers in rushing in the 30-27 loss to No. 12 Central Missouri this past Saturday at Lewis Field Stadium in Hays. He had a season-high 118 yards on 17 carries with one touchdown. He finished with 163 all-purpose yards in the game, also catching seven passes for 45 yards.

Walker leads the team in rushing with 490 yards, averaging 5.2 yards per carry this season through six games. He has three rushing touchdowns and three receiving touchdowns.

Walker is a senior running back from Pacoima, Calif. He transferred to FHSU prior to his junior season from Los Angeles Valley College.
