Terry had a career-high 16 tackles for the Tigers and a 94-yard fumble return that set up a touchdown for the Tigers. With the score 21-7 in favor of FHSU early in the third quarter, Terry scooped a fumble by SBU in the endzone and nearly returned it the length of the field for a touchdown, but was tripped up just six yards short. It came at the end of a goal-line stand by FHSU, which held SBU out of the endzone for three straight plays with the ball on the 1-yardline. His return set up a touchdown that pushed the FHSU lead to 28-7. Terry had nine of his 16 tackles by halftime, helping hold SBU to just 124 yards of total offense in the opening half.
