Micki Krzesinski used the speed of good competition at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational in Lincoln, Neb., to set a new school record. Even though she finished 12th in the race among several Division I runners, she set a new record in the 3,000 meters with a time of 10:17.97. Krzesinski's time broke the old record of 10:24.59 set by Heidi Hines in 2012.
