Schmidtberger recorded a career-high 14 tackles against No. 15 ranked Pittsburg State last week in Hays. He now has a total of 175 tackles in his career as a Tiger.

So far this year, Schmidtberger has 50 tackles, averaging 12.5 per game, along with a team-best 2.5 sacks. He also has 5.0 tackles for loss, an interception, and a forced fumble.
