Kimber Weiser was a bright spot for the Lady Tigers basketball team after they lost their first game of the year to Newman by a score of 66-52.

Weiser, a 5-8 junior from Grinnell, Kan., had a career-high 20 points against the Jets on 10-19 shooting from the field. She also added five rebounds, two steals and an assist in the game. For the year, Weiser ranks third on the team in scoring at 9.0 points per game.
