Mapes helped the Tigers to a 2-1 record in MIAA play last week by hitting .400 for the week. He had two home runs and seven RBI for the week, while scoring three runs. He hit both home runs in a 14-4 win over Nebraska-Kearney, a game in which he produced five RBI.
