Crista Bechard, a junior from Holton, Kan., led the Fort Hays State women's basketball team in scoring in each of the last two games. She produced her two highest point totals of the season in each game, with 15 points against Emporia State and 21 points against Lincoln.
Bechard moved up to the second-leading scorer on the team for the season at 8.1 points per game after averaging 18 per game last week. In her career-high 21-point effort at Lincoln, she scored the first five points in overtime, which proved to be enough to help end Fort Hays State's nine-game road losing streak. She hit a season-high four 3-point field goals in that game.
