Rakim Dean secured a spot to the NCAA DII National Championships (Mar. 9) with a third-place finish at the DII Midwest Super Regional on Saturday (Feb. 24). After falling in his first match of the regional, Dean ran off with five straight victories to earn a trip to nationals. Along the way, the senior defeated two conference foes, Colton Looper of UCO by major decision (23-13) and Trey Schlender of UNK by decision (8-4).
