Marty Verhaeghe has been a solid contributor for the Tiger wrestling team this season with a 12-6 overall record. Verhaeghe claimed his first individual title on Sunday (Dec. 9) at the RWC/Jet Invite in the 174-pound weight class. The Bucyrus, Kan. native also has a runner-up finish at the Swede Open (Nov. 10) and a third-place finish at the UNK Holiday Inn Open (Nov. 17) under his belt on the year.
