Kolt Newell helped the Men’s Track and Field team last week at the Nebraska Tune-Up (Feb. 15) with a provisional mark in the high jump. Newell leaped a height of 6 feet, 9 inches on his way to a runner-up finish. He ranks 22^nd in the country in the high jump after this performance. Newell will look to improve his mark once again this weekend at the MIAA Indoor Championships (Feb. 22-24) in Maryville, Mo.
