Whitney Clampitt helped the Women’s Basketball bring home their first MIAA Tournament Championship. Clampitt produced five points and one assist in 14 minutes off the bench in the victory over Missouri Western on Thursday (Mar. 7) before scoring 12 points in the 27-drubbing of Washburn on Saturday (Mar. 9). Clampitt was a perfect 3-for-3 from deep and went 3-for-4 from the charity stripe, along with five rebounds and one assist off the bench. The Tigers will now host the Central Regional this weekend (Mar. 15-16, 18) as they look to get even closer for a chance at their first Division II Championship.
