Cody Starkel provided a decent week at the plate for the Tigers in their MIAA series with the No. 19 ranked Lions of Missouri Southern over the weekend (March 15-17). Starkel scored the lone run for the Tigers in the series opener on Friday (March 15). He then earned a 2 RBI double down the left field line in the second game before earning a third RBI after reaching on a Lion error. On Sunday, Starkel went 2-for-5 at the dish with two RBIs.
