Fort Hays State third baseman / closer Brett Macari played a crucial role in the Tigers 3-1 series win over Missouri Western this past weekend. Macari started two games at third base, hitting .429 and driving in one run. He also pitched the final inning of each of the wins and picked up three saves, bringing his season total to 12. Macari ranks among the leaders in the MIAA in saves and already has the third-highest single season total in FHSU history.
