The Tiger softball team was shutout for the first time this year in a 2-0 loss to Arkansas Tech at the Midwestern State Invitational. Errors were the difference in the game as they led to both runs for ATU. Fort Hays State is now 6-3 overall.

Both teams scratched out four hits, but ATU benfitted from Tiger errors in the fourth and fifth which led to the only runs of the game. Fort Hays State starter Kayla Rupa took the tough luck loss, now 4-3 on the season. She struck out four and walked just one.

Alex Doyle threw the complete game for Arkansas Tech, striking out six and walking just one.
