The Tigers fell to Incarnate Word 2-0 in their first game of the day, then 4-0 to No. 13 ranked Midwestern State in their second game. FHSU (6-5) is 0-3 at the tournament so far with two games remaining.

Kayla Rupa fell victim to a shutout of the same score the night before against Arkansas Tech. She moved to 4-4 with the loss. She allowed five hits and struck out four with no walks.
Fort Hays State's best scoring opportunity came in the sixth when they had the bases loaded with two outs after three singles in the inning. A lineout off the bat of

The Tigers were shutout for the third consecutive game in Texas, falling 4-0 to tournament host Midwestern State. The Mustangs plated single runs in the first and third, then added a pair of insurance runs later in the sixth.
Maddie Holub went the distance for FHSU, suffering her first loss of the season. She allowed 10 hits and four walks with seven strikeouts in six innings.
Fort Hays State has been outscored a combined 8-0 by teams in the tournament so far heading into Sunday.
