Kayla Rupa tossed a complete game shutout for the Tigers for their first win on the weekend at the Midwestern State Invitational. She allowed just four hits and struck out one with no walks. She moved to 5-4 overall with the win.
An RBI double by
Danie Brinkmann in the fourth was all the offense the Tigers needed.
Sara Tani had two of Fort Hays State's four hits in the game.

Maddie Holub mashed a solo home run in the top of the first, then settled in to throw a complete game shutout against Abilene Christian. She allowed just four hits with one walk, while striking out seven. She moved to 3-1 on the season with the win.
The Tigers added three runs in the second.
Britney Workman had a sacrifice fly RBI that resulted in an error by the outfielder. It helped extend the inning, allowing
Sara Tani and
Erin Dyok to record RBI singles and put FHSU up 4-0. Dyok capped the scoring for FHSU in the seventh with a solo home run.
