The Fort Hays State softball team heads on the road Easter weekend for its final road doubleheaders in conference play. The Tigers play at Central Missouri on Friday (Apr. 22) at 3 pm, then at Southwest Baptist on Saturday at 1 pm.

These are crucial games for Fort Hays State in the push for making the conference tournament. The Tigers are currently tied for seventh in the standings at 5-9 and only eight of 12 conference teams qualify for the tournament. FHSU is 20-18 overall.

Central Missouri enters Friday with an overall record of 21-19 and 6-6 in the MIAA, just one spot ahead of FHSU in the conference standings.

Southwest Baptist enters the weekend at 6-20 overall and 3-11 in the MIAA. The Bearcats are currently 11th in the MIAA standings.
