The Tigers women's soccer team returns to the FHSU Soccer Stadium on Tuesday night at 8 p.m. in a non-conference matchup with McPherson College. This is the first game ever between the two programs.
After winning their first game, the Tigers have struggled lately with four losses and a tie to drop their record to 1-4-1. FHSU is yet to score more than one goal in any of their regular season games, averaging less than one goal per contest. Joanne Glynn is the Tigers leading scorer, tallying two goals on the season.
McPherson College, a NAIA school in the KCAC, comes to Hays with a 2-4 overall record on the season. The Bulldogs are led offensive by freshman Geneva Gray and junior Rachel Cornell . Gray has three goals on the season, while Cornell is not far behind with two. In their six games, McPherson averages just over one goal per game, as the team has scored seven goals on the season.
