The Fort Hays State women's soccer team ends its away slate this weekend with two MIAA matches in Missouri. The Tigers take on Truman on Friday (Oct. 19) at 12 p.m. in Kirksville, Mo. then travel to Lindenwood on Sunday (Oct. 21) for a 12 p.m. match with the Lions in St. Charles, Mo.
The Tigers, who were regionally ranked this week for the first time in program history, are currently 8-5-1 and 4-4-1 in the MIAA. FHSU went 1-0-1 last week, including a 3-1 win over Northwest Missouri State at the FHSU Soccer Stadium. With a two goal weekend, freshman

Truman, which ranks No. 2 in the MIAA standings with a 7-1 record, is 11-2-1 overall. The Bulldogs currently have a three-match winning streak and a seven-match unbeaten streak. Their only conference loss is to Central Oklahoma, 2-1. Trisha Shoemaker leads the offensive attack with nine goals and three assists. Kelsey Twellman and Alexis Heffernan add five goals each. Melanie Hunt has totaled six assists to lead the Bulldogs. Emily Bozdeck has appeared in goal for TSU, averaging 0.49 goals a match with 10 shutouts.
Lindenwood is winless in the MIAA at 0-7 and is 4-7-1 overall. Courtney Bresnahan has registered seven goals to lead the Lions, and Bailey Cody adds five goals and four assists. Jade Davis has nine of the 12 starts in goal with a 1.80 goals against average and a .802 save percentage.
FHSU ends the regular season with two home matches. The Tigers play Nebraska-Kearney on Friday (Oct. 26) at 6 p.m. On Senior Day, FHSU welcomes Western State to the FHSU Soccer Stadium on Sunday (Oct. 28) for an 11 a.m. match.
