The Fort Hays State softball team will close out the regular season this weekend at home with games against Pittsburg State and Missouri Southern. The Tiger host the Gorillas on Saturday (April 21) before playing Missouri Southern on Sunday (April 22) for Senior Day and Fan Appreciation Day.
The game against the Gorillas will be broadcast on local radio AM 1400 KAYS in the Hays area or online at the link above.
Fort Hays State is currently in fourth place in the MIAA standings, one game behind Pittsburg State for third. The Tigers have a one game lead over Central Missouri for fourth place, but they could still finish anywhere between third and sixth place heading into the MIAA Tournament next weekend in Overland Park, Kan.
Pittsburg State is battling to lock up the No. 3 seed in the conference tournament while Missouri Southern is currently in 10th place and fighting for a spot in the tournament. The top eight teams in the conference qualify for the tournament and the bracket for it will be revealed on Sunday after all games have been completed.
The Tigers will honor their three seniors on Sunday against Missouri Southern.

Adriana Wortley will all play their final games at Tiger Stadium this weekend. FHSU will also hold a Fan Appreciation Day on Sunday with fans able to purchase $1 hot dogs or a lunch special of hot dog, chips and drink for $3.
