Fort Hays State softball will make a mid-week trip to Kearney, Neb. on Tuesday (April 10) to face the Lopers of Nebraska-Kearney. It will be the third consecutive series for the Tigers against an opponent who will soon be joining the MIAA, after facing Central Oklahoma and Northeastern State this past weekend.

The two teams met in Hays to open the season back on February 14, with Fort Hays State sweeping the Lopers by scores of 4-0 and 6-5.
Fort Hays State is sitting in fourth place in the MIAA standings at 7-5 and they will resume conference play this weekend. The Tigers will then take their final roadtrip of the season, facing Truman on Friday (April 13) and Northwest Missouri State on Saturday (April 14) before finishing the regular season with three home series.
