The Fort Hays State women's basketball team looks to continue its push for the NCAA Tournament on Friday (Mar. 1) against Lincoln in Hays. FHSU needs a win to continue its push for the NCAA Tournament after dropping out of the regional rankings in the most recent set released on Wednesday (Feb. 27). FHSU still has a chance to tie for as high as fourth in the MIAA standings.
Fort Hays State enters the game at 19-6 overall, 11-6 in the MIAA, while Lincoln enters at 11-14 overall, 6-11 in the MIAA. Fort Hays State is currently tied for sixth in the MIAA standings with Pittsburg State, while Lincoln is tied for 11th. The Lady Tigers are looking for their second-consecutive 20-win season under head coach
Tony Hobson.
Friday marks senior night for Fort Hays State, as five seniors will participate in their final regular season home contest at Gross Memorial Coliseum. Seniors include

Kelsie Sorenson.
Fort Hays State will host a first-round MIAA Tournament game on Tuesday (Mar. 5). Fort Hays State's seed and opponent is still to be determined with the results from the final regular season games around the conference on Friday and Saturday.
