The 17th-ranked Fort Hays State softball team plays a non-conference doubleheader against Oklahoma-Panhandle State on Tuesday afternoon (Apr. 2) at Tiger Stadium in Hays. The Tigers are looking to extend their five-game win streak and enter the contest at 27-5 overall, while Panhandle State enters at 4-32.

This begins a homestand of six consecutive doubleheaders. Four of the doubleheaders in the run of six are conference doubleheaders. FHSU is currently tied for first in the MIAA with Central Oklahoma at 9-1. The Tigers host Missouri Western and Northwest Missouri State at home this weekend, a pair of teams in the upper half of the conference standings.
