No. 13 Fort Hays State Softball hits the road this week for a six-game road trip, beginning with a doubleheader with Arkansas Tech on Wednesday (March 19) in Russellville, Ark. Game times are slated for 2 and 4 p.m.
The Tigers (15-8, 5-3 MIAA) split a doubleheader with Washburn in its last time out, winning the second game by a score of 4-2 as
Paxton Duran pitched a complete game with eight strikeouts.
At the plate, FHSU has been led this season by Duran's .444 batting average to go with three doubles and one home run.
Courtney Dobson is tied for second on the team with six doubles and a .388 average.
Danie Brinkmann's seven doubles leads the team while
Amanda Vaupel has six. All told, seven of FHSU's starters are hitting above the .300 mark.

Kelsey Kimminau (6-2) has a 3.36 ERA in 58.1 innings thrown, striking out 38.
