Fort Hays State closes out the month of March this weekend with two conference doubleheaders at Tiger Stadium. FHSU will host Lincoln on Saturday (March 29) and Lindenwood on Sunday (March 30), with both doubleheaders scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
FHSU (19-12, 8-4 MIAA) is tied for fourth in the MIAA standings so far this season, with five starters hitting over .300 and a team ERA of 2.85. Head coach Erin Kinberger will look for career win No. 100 this weekend as well, with a 97-43 overall record in just her third season at the helm.
Courtney Dobson's .388 batting average is a team best, as she is tied with
Danie Brinkmann and
Amanda Vaupel with seven doubles. Dobson has 18 RBI on the season and a .431 on-base percentage as well. Brinkmann's 20 RBI and 14 walks are a team-high, while
Kellsi Olsen climbed above the .300 mark last week and now has three home runs, four doubles, 10 RBI and a .314 batting average.
