Fort Hays State closes out the month of March this weekend with two conference doubleheaders at Tiger Stadium.  FHSU will host Lincoln on Saturday (March 29) and Lindenwood on Sunday (March 30), with both doubleheaders scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
 
FHSU (19-12, 8-4 MIAA) is tied for fourth in the MIAA standings so far this season, with five starters hitting over .300 and a team ERA of 2.85.  Head coach Erin Kinberger will look for career win No. 100 this weekend as well, with a 97-43 overall record in just her third season at the helm.
 
Courtney Dobson's .388 batting average is a team best, as she is tied with Danie Brinkmann and Amanda Vaupel with seven doubles.  Dobson has 18 RBI on the season and a .431 on-base percentage as well.  Brinkmann's 20 RBI and 14 walks are a team-high, while Kellsi Olsen climbed above the .300 mark last week and now has three home runs, four doubles, 10 RBI and a .314 batting average.
 
In the circle, Paxton Duran (11-5) has won three straight games with eight complete games this season, sporting a 2.57 ERA and holding opponents to a .227 batting average.  Duran's 83 strikeouts are a team-high, and she has 10 appearances with at least five strikeouts.  Kelsey Kimminau (7-5) is holding opponents to a .271 batting average this season with 50 strikeouts in 75 innings pitched. 
 
Lincoln (3-20, 0-10 MIAA) is led offensively by Shanae Duren's 20 hits (including four doubles) and a .333 average, while Sam Kircher has five home runs, 14 RBI and a .316 batting average.  Pitcher Jessica Cook is 2-10 this season, striking out 44 with a 8.51 ERA.
 
Lindenwood (8-11, 3-3 MIAA) is coming off a no-hitter performance by pitcher Kendall Ryndak against Lindenwood-Belleville and is .500 in league play through six contests.  Ryndak leads the team with a 2.79 ERA and 46 strikeouts, holding opponents to a .259 batting average while going 2-4.  Morgan Colvis' 6-3 record is a team-best, as Colvis has a 3.89 ERA and 39 strikeouts.  At the plate, Courtney Opich is hitting .439 with six doubles, two home runs and 12 RBI to lead the team.
