Softball Heads to San Antonio for Five Games

Fort Hays State Softball heads to San Antonio, Texas for five games this weekend, competing Friday through Sunday (Feb. 9-11). The Tigers are 1-2 on the young season and will face four teams from the Lone Star Conference and one from the Heartland conference.
 
Live stats will be available throughout the entire tournament. The tournament will be on two fields, with separate live stat links for each field. A live webstream will be available for games played inside St. Mary's Softball Stadium. FHSU plays three games inside the stadium, and two at Field 2. The fields are located right next to each other on the campus of St. Mary's University.
 
Weekend/day passes will be available for purchase at the gate or online at StMUtickets.com for those planning to attend the games.

Fort Hays State vs. Cameron – Friday, 10 am (Field 2) I Live Stats
The Tigers meet Cameron University for the 12th time in history on Friday. The Aggies won the last seven games played between the teams, including a 5-1 decision last year in Canyon, Texas. Cameron leads the all-time series 7-4 after FHSU won the first four meetings. The Tigers swept doubleheaders against the Aggies in 2004 and 2005. Cameron is off to a 4-2 start to the season, including a 3-0 record against MIAA teams so far after defeating Pittsburg State, Washburn, and Missouri Southern last weekend.
 
Fort Hays State vs. Tarleton State – Friday, 2:30 pm (Stadium) I Live Stats I Watch Live
The Tigers play Tarleton State for the sixth time in history on Friday. The Tigers are looking for their first-ever win over the TexAnns as TSU owns a 5-0 lead in the series history. The teams are meeting for the first time since the 2012 season, when TSU won 8-0. Tarleton State is off to a 6-0 start on the season.

Fort Hays State meets Eastern New Mexico for the sixth time in history on Saturday. Just like the series history Tarleton State, the Tigers are searching for their first-ever win over the Greyhounds. FHSU and ENMU have not met since the 2006 season when FHSU was still a member of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. ENMU is 1-4 overall so far this season.
 
Fort Hays State vs. St. Edward's – Saturday, 4:45 pm (Field 2) I Live Stats
Fort Hays State plays St. Edward's for the second time in school history on Saturday. Fort Hays State took the only prior meeting between the schools in 2011 by a score of 1-0. St. Edward's is 0-1 so far this season. St. Edward's is the only Heartland Conference affiliated school besides the four Lone Star Conference opponents the Tigers are playing this weekend.
 
Fort Hays State vs. Texas Woman's – Sunday, 12:15 pm (Stadium) I Live Stats I Watch Live
Fort Hays State meets Texas Woman's for the fourth time in history on Sunday. The Tigers own a 2-1 advantage in the all-time series, taking the last meeting 7-1 during the 2012 season. The Pioneers are coached by Genny Stidham, who led MIAA member Central Oklahoma to the Division II national championship in 2013. The Pioneers are receiving votes in the NFCA Division II Preseason Poll and currently own a record of 3-2.
