Fort Hays State will open conference play on Friday (Mar. 9) in Tahlequah, Oklahoma when it takes on Northeastern State. A day later (Mar. 10), the Tigers take on Central Oklahoma in Edmond. Doubleheaders are set to begin at 12 pm each day.

Fort Hays State is looking to improve on a 12
th-place finish in conference last season. The Tigers bring a record of 4-14 overall into the weekend. Northeastern State brings in a record of 8-8 overall to the contest on Friday. The RiverHawks have won their last three games. Central Oklahoma has four conference games under its belt already, sitting at 3-1, while holding an overall mark of 13-7. The Bronchos are coming off a pair of losses to No. 4 ranked Angelo State on Wednesday, but will take on Nebraska-Kearney Friday before hosting the Tigers Saturday.
