The Fort Hays State women's soccer team will be at home this week hosting Northeastern State on Friday (Oct. 7) at 7 p.m. and Rogers State on Sunday (Oct. 9) at 2 p.m. The Tigers currently have sole possession of second place in the MIAA standings with 11 points.

Fort Hays State (8-0-4, 3-0-2 MIAA) played to a 1-1 draw with No. 11 Central Oklahoma in its most recent match. The Tigers have 15 goals this season, while allowing only five to their opponents, the fewest among MIAA schools. Montserrat Diaz and Hannah Mares are tied for the team lead with four goals each. Isabel Robben has been solid between the posts for the Tigers this season as she holds the top mark in the MIAA in save percentage (.884), goals against average (.42), and shutouts (7).

Northeastern State (4-2-6, 1-2-2 MIAA) lost to No. 4 Central Missouri 2-1 in its most recent contest. The RiverHawks have outscored opponents 15-12 this season, while averaging almost 14 shots per match. The Tigers defeated the RiverHawks 1-0 last season in Tahlequah, but the RiverHawks lead the all-time series 6-4.

Rogers State (4-4-4, 1-2-2 MIAA) played to a 1-1 draw with Missouri Southern in its last match. The Hillcats have outscored their opponents 14-11 this season and average 13 shots per match.
