The fourth-ranked Fort Hays State women's basketball team looks to avenge one of its few losses this season on Saturday (Feb. 12) when the Tigers host Northeastern State beginning at 2 p.m.

The Tigers (20-3, 14-3 MIAA) fell on the road to the RiverHawks just five days ago on the road, 67-58. Fort Hays State is 1-0 so far this season when attempting to avenge an earlier loss after beating Nebraska-Kearney in the second matchup of the year earlier this season.

Fort Hays State reached 20 wins with its victory on Thursday, reaching that plateau for the 11th year in a row. That is the longest such streak in Division II. Fort Hays State is the first MIAA team to 20 wins this season.

Olivia Hollenbeck needs just 12 points to reach 500 points in less than two seasons at the collegiate level.

Fort Hays State is 17-4 all-time against the RiverHawks, including a perfect 8-0 record at home. Monday's loss snapped a 16-game winning streak in the series for the Tigers.

With just five games to go in the regular season, the Tigers are tied for first place in the MIAA standings with Missouri Southern. Nebraska-Kearney and Missouri Western are both just one game back in the loss column.
