The No. 6 women's basketball team wraps up a long road trip with its third game in five days Monday afternoon (Feb. 7) against Northeastern State. First tip is set for 2 p.m. in Tahlequah, Okla.

The Tigers (19-2, 13-2 MIAA) have dominated the series with Northeastern State (4-17, 2-13 MIAA) of late, winning the last 16 meetings. It's FHSU's longest active winning streak against an MIAA rival. This year's crop of true freshmen were fifth graders the last time the RiverHawks beat the Tigers (1/18/14). All time FHSU is 17-3 against NSU (7-2 on the road), while the Tigers are 17-2 against the RiverHawks under Hobson (7-2 on the road).

Jaden Hobbs has performed well in all four of her games against the RiverHawks, averaging 17.0 points and 5.0 assists per game while scoring at least 14 points in all four contests. Three other Tigers average at least eight points against the RiverHawks, including Whitney Randall (10.6 ppg in eight games), Olivia Hollenbeck (8.0 ppg in two games) and Katie Wagner (8.0 ppg in two games).

Hobbs dished out her 500th career assist in Saturday's win over Central Oklahoma, 381 of which have taken place at FHSU. She ranks third all-time at Fort Hays State with that total.

The Tigers are coming off another win in the state of Oklahoma. FHSU is 18-5 in the Sooner State under head coach Tony Hobson, including wins in each of the last nine games.

A win Monday would give the Tigers 200 wins since the start of the 2014-15 season. To date, FHSU is 199-40 since that point (.833 win pct).

Northeastern State has lost seven of its nine home games this season. The RiverHawks average 61.7 points per night while allowing 66.5 points per game. Maleeah Langstaff ranks sixth in the league in scoring (17.3 ppg) and is third in rebounds (9.5 rpg).
