The Fort Hays State women's wrestling team hosts its first home dual of the season on Saturday night (Nov. 15), taking on the club program from Oklahoma State University. Action is set for 7:30 p.m. at Gross Memorial Coliseum in Hays. Fort Hays State is ranked No. 13 in the latest NWCA Top 25 rankings.
Fresh off a strong performance at the Maverick Open in Grand Junction, Colorado, where FHSU had three champions and placed 15 wrestlers, the Tigers are ready for their first head-to-head team competition of the season. Kennedy Farrar (103), Peyton Hellmann (138), and Isabella Renfro (180) all went 4-0 at the Maverick Open, where Farrar and Renfro did not allow a single point to their opponents.
Leiannah Landreth (117), Dylen Ritchey (145), and Isabella Renfro (180) are all in the latest edition of NWCA Individual National Rankings. Renfro is the highest-ranked Tiger at No. 5, while Ritchey is No. 8 and Landreth is No. 10 in their respective classes.
