HAYS, Kan. - Fort Hays State head tennis coach Brian Flax has announced the signing of another incoming freshman to join the class of 2026. The signing of Mekenzy Clark brings the class to a total of nix new players for next fall.
 
Flax has previously announced the signing of Caelie Cox, Madeline Deters, Molly Gorman, Kali Keough and Sydney Schumaker.

Las Vegas, Nevada - Doral Red Rock High School
Mekenzy is a four-time state placer at the Nevada Class 4A State Championships, most recently finishing as the state runner-up as a senior. She previously placed third as a sophomore and junior after finishing fourth as a freshman. The Las Vegas, Nev. native finished her senior year with a record of 48-3 and compiled a high school record of 148-17. She was named team MVP three times at Doral Red Rock High School.
