Fort Hays State will play Northwestern Oklahoma State in a doubleheader for the second week in a row, this time in Hays on Tuesday (Mar. 31). The games are set to start at 1 p.m. The Tigers enter at 15-18 overall, while the Rangers are 10-24 overall.

Fort Hays State looks to get back on the winning track, entering on a three-game losing skid. The Tigers dropped a pair of MIAA contests at Northwest Missouri State back on Friday by scores of 8-0 and 3-2. The string started with a loss in game two of FHSU's doubleheader at Northwestern Oklahoma State last week.

Northwestern Oklahoma State most recently was swept in a three-game series at Southern Nazarene this past weekend. The Rangers did not score in the series, outscored 19-0.

The Tigers and Rangers split a doubleheader in Alva last week. Fort Hays State took a wild first contest 12-9 in eight innings before NWOSU took the second game 6-2.
Lilly Mohr had a pair of home runs in the 12-9 win and led FHSU with four RBIs last week overall.

Fort Hays State leads the all-time series with NWOSU 10-4-1. NWOSU's win in game two of the doubleheader last week snapped a seven-game win streak for the Tigers. FHSU swept the last doubleheader between the teams in Hays, which occurred last year by scores of 2-1 and 4-2.
