The Fort Hays State men's basketball team opens the 22-game MIAA slate hosting conference newcomer Lincoln University (Mo.) on Wednesday night (Dec. 1). The game is set to begin at 7:30 pm, which will follow the women's contest that starts at 5:30 pm. Fort Hays State is 6-0 overall and Lincoln enters at 2-2 overall.
The Tigers play their first two games of conference play at home, which also includes a match-up with Nebraska-Omaha on Friday. Following Friday, the Tigers go on the road for their next three games, which includes Washburn, Missouri Western, and Northwest Missouri State.
Fort Hays State currently leads the MIAA in scoring offense at 89.7 points per game and scoring margin at +24.7. The Tigers are allowing just 65.0 points per game to opponents so far. The Tigers have scored at least 80 points in every game this year.

The duo also ranks No. 1 and No. 2 in the MIAA in blocked shots, with Bowman leading at 1.7 per game and Smith at 1.5 per game. Kuntzsch is the team leader in rebounding, averaging 7.0 per game.
The Staten Island, N.Y., combo of
Karron McKenzie and
Moses Dayee are the top two scorers off the bench for FHSU. McKenzie is averaging 9.8 points per game, while Dayee is averaging 8.7.
Lincoln is led in scoring by guard Pierre DeClue at 16.3 points per game. Forward Daniel Armah averages a double-double of 14.0 points and 12.8 rebounds per game. Armah, a native of Ghana, is the conference leader in rebounds.
