The top four teams in the conference receive byes to the quarterfinals of the MIAA Tournament in Kansas City, but right now the Tigers are playing for the chance to at least host an opening round tournament game. Seeds 5-8 will hosts seeds 9-12 in the first round, so the Tigers are looking to at least finish between fifth and eighth in the standings to secure a home game. Central Oklahoma comes into Saturday in fifth place at 10-6 and Lincoln won on Thursday night to move to 9-8 in the MIAA, just a half game ahead of FHSU and UNK. A win for the Tigers could leave only a one-game gap between sixth and fifth with two games to play.
