This weekend's forecast in southeastern Missouri has caused a shift in the schedule for the Fort Hays State baseball team. The Tigers will now take on Drury in a pair of doubleheaders on Friday (Feb. 11) and Sunday (Feb. 13). First pitch Friday is set for 1 p.m. before action is slated to begin at noon on Sunday.

Drury is in its sixth season of playing home games at U.S. Baseball Park in Ozark, Mo., just a short drive south of the DU campus in Springfield, Mo.
 
This is the first road trip of the year for the Tigers (0-4), while this is the first action of the season for Drury. The Tigers and Panthers have played once before, with Drury winning 22-11 at home eight years ago (4/9/14).
 
Jenner Kehe ranks ninth in the MIAA through one week of play with an on-base percentage of .558. he led the team with seven hits and was the lone Tiger to pick up a hit in all four games last weekend. The second baseman is also tied for seventh in the league with three walks.
 
Mason Holton and Jaxson Webb both homered for the Tigers last weekend, good for a tie for eighth amongst all MIAA players. Hunter Parker's eight-inning outing in the series finale is tied for the second-longest outing by a starting pitcher in the league so far this year. He and Sammy Sanchez are tied for the team lead with six strikeouts.
 
Drury was picked to finish third in its division of the Great Lakes Valley Conference according to the preseason coaches poll after turning in a 14-26 record a year ago. The Panthers have played in five NCAA tournaments under 10th-year head coach Scott Nasby. Drury returns a pair of all-region selections in catcher Nikko Calabro and infielder Jackson Dierenfeldt.
