The Fort Hays State track and field teams saw two school records go down in addition to adding 11 provisional marks to their total Saturday afternoon between the Seventh Annual Indoor Gorilla Classic and the Jason's Deli Ichabod Invitational. The Tigers have now broken nine school records during the indoor season.
 
Seventh Annual Indoor Gorilla Classic - Day Two
Lyric Holman shaved another five-hundredths of a second off her school record in the 60m dash, finishing third in the event with a time of 7.45. She was second amongst DII competitors and now sits in third on this season's DII national performance chart.
 
A men's relay team broke a school record for a second day in a row when Hayden Albright, Jack Pakkebier, Nolan Churchman and Ethan Lang combined for a time of 3:16.19 in the 4x400m relay. The unit placed ninth overall and fifth against DII competition.
 
Two Tigers eclipsed the provisional pace in the 800m run, including event champion Ethan Lang who crossed the line in 1:50.50 to move to third on the FHSU DII era performance chart. Aaron Mangan was eighth with a time of 1:52.25, good for a provisional time and moving him up one spot on the FHSU DII list. Trever Medina was just off the provisional pace with a time of 1:53.12, but moved up three spots to seventh on the DII era top 10 list.
 
A trio of Tigers cleared the provisional height in the pole vault, including Ryan Stanley's second-place finish with a clearance of the 16-9.5 bar. Jacob Clark placed sixth after eclipsing the 16-1.75 bar, while Mark Faber was eighth with a top mark of 15-9.75.
 
Mattie Rossi ran a provisional time in the 60m hurdles, placing 13th in the prelims with a time of 8.78. She also moved up a spot to third on the FHSU DII era performance chart in the 400m dash after a personal-best time of 58.22, good for 26th.
 
Gretchen Kuffel ran a PR of 5:06.46 in the mile, good for fourth on the FHSU DII list.
 
Running just his third indoor 3K at the collegiate level, Grant Bradley (sixth place) moved up to second on the FHSU DII era chart with a time of 8:21.74.
 
Jason's Deli Ichabod Invitational
The Tigers added three more provisionals and one event victory at the Ichabod Invite in Topeka, Kan. Alexandra Hart remained undefeated indoors after winning the high jump with a provisional clearance of 5-5.75. Summer Kragel also cleared the 5-5.75 bar for a season-best mark while placing third based on total misses.
 
Xavier Robinson finished third in the triple jump after a leap of 48-5.25 on his second attempt, surpassing the provisional mark by more than one foot.
 
Robbie Schmidt ran a personal-best 14:33.84 in the 5,000m run, placing 14th in the race and good for second on the FHSU DII era performance chart. Abigail Stewart moved to fifth on the FHSU DII era list after running the 5K in 17:49.42, good for 11th in the event. Brooke Navarro was just behind her teammate in the race, finishing 12th with a time of 17:55.40 to move to 6th on the FHSU DII chart.
 
Kolgan Ohl also moved into the FHSU DII era list in the weight throw after eclipsing his previous best by nearly four feet with a heave of 57-11, placing fifth.
 
The Tigers are scheduled to make their final regular season tune-ups on Friday (Feb. 18) at the Husker Tune-Up in Lincoln, Neb. before heading to Maryville, Mo. for the MIAA Championships at the end of the month (Feb. 26-27).
